So close but yet so far at the Fishriver Canyon. Happy with the win but very disappointed to miss the record by 8 minutes to finish the measured record course in 7:04. Gave absolutely everything-but didn’t feel strong all day and they searing heat made life even more difficult. God was amazing and pulled me through some very very dark places. Such a blessing to run in a truly epic place and share it with my beautiful wife and Emilie. I will be back but perhaps this time not do the 10km warmup beforehand.
